Job Overview:
Alexis Fiscal Advisory is seeking a reliable and efficient Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching vehicles, personnel, and resources to ensure timely and effective service delivery. You will work closely with the operations and logistics teams to maintain smooth workflow, respond to emergency requests, and optimize schedules. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch Coordination: Receive, prioritize, and assign service requests or deliveries to the appropriate personnel or vehicles based on availability and urgency.

• Scheduling: Create and manage daily schedules for drivers, technicians, or other service personnel, ensuring that all routes, appointments, and tasks are efficiently planned.

• Communication: Maintain clear and constant communication with field staff, providing updates, instructions, and support as needed throughout the day.

• Route Optimization: Use software or manual tracking systems to determine the most efficient routes for deliveries or service calls, minimizing delays and costs.

• Customer Service: Handle inquiries and concerns from clients or customers, ensuring that their service requests are addressed promptly and accurately.

• Problem Resolution: Address issues or delays as they arise by communicating with drivers, technicians, or other relevant parties, and providing solutions to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

• Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including service requests, driver logs, and delivery schedules. Prepare and submit reports on operational performance when necessary.

• Inventory Management: Monitor and track inventory levels for resources, ensuring that materials or equipment required for service are available and dispatched appropriately.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all dispatch activities comply with relevant safety regulations, company policies, and any applicable local laws. Help monitor driver compliance with safety standards.

• Emergency Dispatching: Respond quickly to emergency service requests, ensuring that the appropriate personnel and resources are dispatched as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in logistics, transportation, or operations management is a plus.

• Proven experience in dispatching, customer service, or logistics coordination.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage high-volume dispatch operations.

• Proficient in using dispatch software, GPS systems, or scheduling tools.

• Ability to work well under pressure, making quick decisions in fast-paced situations.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

• Attention to detail and high accuracy in record-keeping.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of transportation or delivery regulations (if relevant to the industry).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with fleet management or routing software.

• Knowledge of the industry-specific logistics or service requirements.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts if necessary.

• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
