Job Description

Express Employment Professionals, Delta, is recruiting 2 Business Developers/ Sales Representatives for our client companies who is in the Equipment Manufacturing and another for the servicing of Industrial Equipment. Both companies are based in Delta, BC. Both companies are very well established and have been around for 30 years plus.

Requirements:

Communicate with company personnel to ensure accurate and timely deliveries, repairs, pick-ups, and equipment set-ups.
Daily territory management and revenue growth through visits to customer job sites and offices.
Work closely with other members of the sales team to achieve company objectives.
Maintain and grow existing clients/ make cold calls to solicit new business.
Plan and organize business strategies to achieve desired results
Prepares daily and/or monthly outside sales reports. Assists when complaints and emergencies arise by investigating and solving the problem.
Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications & Requirements:

Proven track record with 3 to 5 years sales experience within the heavy equipment industry and/or 5 years’ experience in the related field.
Ideal candidate will have direct industry sales experience with heavy equipment, engines, or other machinery.
Must have experience in managing projects, new business development, and customer retention.
Strong technical aptitude is ideal
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work and communicate effectively with all levels of the company
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet Explorer.
Must maintain a professional personal appearance.
Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record in good standing.
2-4 year degree is preferred, but not required.

Salary is $38,000 to $55,000 base plus comissions. Average to excellent sales representative will be making $80,000 to $100,000 plus.
