Equipment Service Technician: Harvey 2604

We are currently looking for an experienced Equipment Service Technician with 4 to 5 years of current working experience in welding, metal fabrication, electrical, and hydraulics experience to join our team.

This Service Technician will report to the Service Manager, and he will be responsible for independently performing advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer-owned, and our company waste & recycling equipment.

Maintenance is conducted on-sites, or remotely using company vehicles.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Performs a high level of customer service using a company vehicle.
Reviews & explains maintenance, repair or other service concerns directly with the customer and documents all materials and time through Work Orders.
Participates in internal and external training programs and follows all company policies and procedures as indicated in the company employee hand.
Maintains the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments.
Participates in the on-call program.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience performing service repairs.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment.
A valid driver’s license is required, and a forklift license is preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

This is a fulltime position.

Salary of $30.00 plus per hour, depending on current experience.

Company benefits are available after 3 months probation.
