Job Summary
The Team
At Court Services, you'll become a valued member of our Court Administration team at North Vancouver Provincial Court. As an established group, we manage case documentation and support court proceedings, working closely with justice partners to ensure seamless access to justice. The Role
As a Registry Clerk your working directly influences access to justice for the court participants, making this a dynamic and impactful role. Qualifications:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED)
• One (1) year experience working in an office environment, OR one (1) year combination of customer service, clerical duties, office experience and education.
• One (1) year experience in keyboarding with a minimum of 40 WPM, data entry, word processing and standard computer applications and software programs (e.g. Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• An equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training may be considered.
Preference may be given to candidates with:
• Experience in Court Programs and Applications (JUSTIN, CEIS, ARC, CTAS, CCD)
• Experience with delivering Customer Service
• Experience in accounting services
PROVISOS
• Union membership is required
• Attendance and completion of relevant training is required
• May be required to work flexible hours, including varied shifts and overtime on short notice
• May be required to travel, including travel in adverse weather conditions and work in other geographical areas, including circuit court locations. Must have reliable transportation and/or be willing to travel with others
• Able to lift heavy objects up to (30 lbs)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
