About the Opportunity

- Utilizing computer software such as HEC-RAS/GeoHecRAS, PCSWMM/SWMM, Raven, Mike+, ICM/ICM Ultimate, HEC-HMS, ArcGIS, and Arc Hydro.
- Performing hydrologic and hydraulic design calculations for natural systems and infrastructure.
- Working with the Engineering Design Team to analyze, design, and review Engineering drawings.
- Writing analytical reports for a variety of audiences.
- Helping with cost estimation, quality assurance, and occasional inspection of real world construction.
- Conducting fieldwork as required.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be a graduate of a civil or environmental engineering program with 2 to 3 years of experience and a demonstrated passion for water resources. Our ideal candidate will be registered or eligible for registration as an EIT with EGBC, or an equivalent provincial or territorial association.

- You have a demonstrated interest in analytical work and modelling.
- You have a strong attention to detail and have genuine pride and care for projects and clients.
- You have experience with project management, cost estimation, quality assurance, and team building.
- You take the initiative and a proactive approach to collaboration with people of varying backgrounds and perspectives.
- You have the ability to thrive in a self-directed work environment and are able to manage your time and work independently, as well as collaborate with a broad team of various disciplines.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication and are able to write reports for a variety of audiences.
- You have experience with the modelling programs listed above.
- You have experience programming in Python (preferred).
