At Asset Investment Recovery in Prince George, you'll join a hands-on and supportive Stock Worker team responsible for warehousing and logistics. This new team of three collaborates with Listing Agents and Supervisors to ensure smooth operations. The Role
As a Stock Worker at Asset Investment Recovery in Prince George, you'll play a key role in warehousing and customer service, becoming the face of BC Auction. This position offers a unique blend of public and private sector experiences, where you'll work with a variety of assets the Province purchases. This position has full time on-site requirements.
The position headquarters will be Prince George.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future permanent and/or temporary vacancies across the Ministry of Citizens' Services.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse or similar inventory control environment.
- Minimum 1 years' experience with MS Office, including Word and Excel, Internet, basic web site skills and e-mail.
- Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License and must provide a 5-year Driver's Abstract from ICBC.
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
- WSBC Forklift Operation Certificate.
- Experience working with materials handling equipment.
- Experience driving 3-ton and/or 5-ton trucks.
- Three (3) months' experience using SAP inventory system.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work with limited supervision and carry out assigned tasks in a competent manner.
- Knowledge of Industrial Safety Standards, WSBC and WHIMS regulations related to the storage and transportation of goods which may be hazardous.
- Knowledge of warehouse practices and methods applied in operating a modern warehouse facility.
- Must possess good organizational skills; good interpersonal skills.
Provisos/Willingness Statements
- Willing and able to frequently move heavy weights, (Up to 30 Kg) e.g. boxes, furniture, large electronics, etc.
- Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License
