The Team:
Join our highly functioning and detail-oriented Administration team, where diversity and support are at the core of our success. You'll be working alongside five other dedicated professionals, in a well-established group that is as energetic as it is reliable. As part of this team, you'll play a crucial role in creating operational efficiencies and ensuring effective information flow, making a tangible impact on our organization and its culture.
The Role:
In this role, you'll ensure the smooth operations of our administrative and contract processes while supporting and developing a talented team of three direct reports. You'll manage multiple priorities, collaborate with other programs, and have the opportunity to implement process improvements that directly impact public safety and effective land-based activities. This rewarding position offers a diverse workload, opportunities for growth, and the chance to contribute to the future shaping of our organization, all while creating a seamless and positive experience for our clients.

About this Position:
There is currently one (1) permanent, full time position available in Prince George.
This position has full time on-site requirements.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies in Prince George.
A Criminal Record Check (CRC) will be required.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and three (3) years of related experience; or,
- Coursework in business administration or contract management or a related field and two (2) years of related experience; or,
- Certificate or Diploma in business or a related field and one (1) year of related experience; or,
- An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Related experience must include all of the following:
- Minimum of one (1) year of contract experience.
- Establishing and implementing standard office procedures, including records management.
- Providing administrative and financial support services for multiple programs.
- Supervising or leading others.
Preference may be given to applicants who have one (1) or both of the following:
- Experience with government contract process and administration; and/or,
- Experience with natural resource tenures administration.
