Job Description

Horizon Recruitment has been engaged in a search for a Senior Accountant to join one of Vancouver's largest and most reputable employment law firms. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into a well-established organization that prioritizes employee satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance and works closely with AP, AR, Billing, and one other Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities:

Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and associated reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Review and validate monthly data integrity checks and balancing reports for general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and tax returns.
Responsible for regulatory reporting requirements
Assists with budgeting.
Manages escalated billing and accounting matters.
Complete the monthly billing cycle in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Experience working in the law industry or other professional services an asset.
4-6 years of industry experience.
CPA designation or working towards one.
Experience working with ERP software, Acumin preferred.

Salary:

85,000 - 100,000 + Bonus
