Job Description

6-month contract Learning Analyst role with a global organization with a hybrid work environment located in downtown Vancouver
  • 6 month Learning Analyst
  • High profile team driving engineering excellence
  • Hybrid work environment in downtown Vancouver, 3 days a week in office.

What & Why:
Our client is adding a new role to their growing team, focused on engineering learning solutions.  This will help to elevate the consistency of knowledge across the enterprise organization.  You are an expert in the learning design space, using learning design best practices to create assets that promote learning and retention. You know how to use modern tools to create digital classes and testing for Engineers and are passionate about adult education. This is a great time to join this team as they have had a continued track record of success through the years and are continuing to expand under great leadership.

They are well known for their corporate culture and has won major awards for their accomplishments. They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 3 days a week in office.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
  • 3-5 years' work in learning design (conducting performance gap analysis, setting objectives, designing and developing learning assets, and evaluation strategies for virtual/ instructor-led and online courses).
  • 3-5 years' experience developing interactive online courses using e-learning authoring tools, preferably Articulate Storyline 360
  • Experience supporting SMEs and consulting business leaders on learning methodology and performance coaching.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect learning and business goals.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current online and instructor-led learning theories and principles. Expertise in developing training resources for technology Engineers.
  • Strong at simplifying complex engineering activities into introductory explanations
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline 360

Compensation: this role pays between $55-65 per hour
