Job Description

An established millwork/cabinet manufacturer is seeking a Wood Finisher for Custom Millwork to join our production staff. This newly created position is open and urgently required to meet production timelines for 2025.

This position requires an organized team player looking to take their career to the next level with a leader in the millwork/cabinet industry. One who will meet the standards required for premium level finished wood products made on a custom basis for unique, high-level projects in commercial millwork.

To be successful In this position you must have the technical knowledge and developed skillsets in applying various paints, stains, glazes, etc. onto panels and various wood cabinetry/millwork pieces. You will help in the organization. preparation, handling and packaging of all pieces to be ready for assembly, shipping or installation. You will help maintain a well organized, safe and clean workspace to enable your team to maintain efficient production of beautifully finished components.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Experience working in a cabinet, millwork or furniture shop as part of a production team.
  • A good understanding of custom wood working production processes and standards.
  • Experience in the use of finishing materials, modern finish application equipment and methods.
  • A desire to produce valuable work and achieve reliable results.
  • A professional attitude that is cooperative and eager to learn new techniques and practices.
  • A commitment to punctuality and dependability.
