What - the Role:
As Senior Payroll Specialist, you will report to the VP of Corporate Accounting and work closely with another Payroll professional. You will process hourly and salary Canadian payroll for 750+ employees, process hourly and salaried payroll for 50+ US employees, collaborate closely with the People team on matters of payroll and benefits administration as well as initiatives and optimizations. You will work closely with the Corporate Accounting team preparing payroll and financial reports. As well as handling employee inquiries, dealing with escalated payroll issues and special projects assigned by the team. SWIM is happy to provide a detailed job description to interested candidates.

You love the technical aspects of payroll, and your natural curiosity and attention to detail means you are always up to speed on new legislation that impacts our team members.  You know that issues come up, and you relish the opportunity to use your problem-solving skills to address complex problems, while providing a high level of support to team members.

This role requires a mature and professional attitude, a passion to solve problems, a confident and excellent communicator, excellent time management and project management skills. The role requires 5 plus years working knowledge and experience processing full cycle payroll in Canada for multiprovincial employees. Experience processing US payroll is required as well as completion of PCP. Experience using ADP as a payroll provider is an asset.

The incumbent must also have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, be comfortable with changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.

Downtown Vancouver. This is an in-office role. Transit friendly location with an excellent company culture and environment.

How Much:
Competitive salary in the range of $90,000 - $100,000 dependent on experience, along with excellent benefits, vacation, and other generous rewards.
