 The Job Description

As the Sales Manager - Canada, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and accelerating our market presence. You will lead the charge in identifying new retail partners, managing existing retail partners, and growing our presence in Canada. This role requires a self-starter who can work collaboratively across departments, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and contribute to shaping the future of our brand.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development (60%)

  • Identify new leads in these markets: Ski Resorts, Outdoor Destination Gift,Outdoor Retailers, Zoos, Breweries & Spirit
  • Secure contact information for correct personnel.
  • Reach out to leads using our proprietary go to market methods.
  • Travel to trade shows, buyer showings and regional meetings.

Account Management (30%)

  • Sales to existing customers for re-orders, upsells and sales growth.
  • Customer service to existing customers.
  • Point of contact for all customers in your territory.

Systems Management (10%)

  •  Utilize our CRM for sales management (Hubspot)
  • Utilize our ERP for order management.
  • Utilize our internal procedures to facilitate smooth operations.

 Brand Representation

  •  Act as a brand ambassador, effectively communicating our company's mission, values, and unique selling points.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and forge new relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements

  •  Wholesale sales experience, preferably apparel
  • Comfortable working from home
  • Frequent Travel
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to engage with potential customers, listen actively, and clearly convey information in a charismatic way
  • Great attitude, team player
  • British Columbia or Alberta based

More Details

  • Title: Sales Manager – Canada
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Travel: Frequent travel to customers and trade shows
  • Type: The position will an independent contractor
  • Compensation: You will receive a guaranteed commission draw of $50,000 CAD + additional commissions when you exceed the draw.  Commissions rate are paid on the lifecycle per customer: 12% on first year of sales, 8% on second year of customer sales, 5% on Year 3+
  • Hours: Full Time, M-F
  • Location: Work From Home (we hope to open a showroom / office for you within the first 12 months)
  • Expenses: Jack and Sage assigns annual expense budget (technology, travel, trade shows, etc.)
