Job Description

6-month contract Project Manager role focusing on enterprise payments with a global organization.

What & Why:

Our client is investing majorly into technology and looking to add a contract project manager to their growing enterprise payments team. This role will focus on leading enterprise payment projects across retail and digital channels. You will oversee end-to-end payment solutions, ensuring seamless integrations between in-store POS systems, mobile payment platforms, and backend payment processing infrastructure. Your key responsibilities include driving project execution, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth transitions from implementation to operations. The role requires a strong PM skill set with the ability to lead Agile teams while also managing timelines, risks, and dependencies. Experience with POS hardware, peripherals, and mobile payment technologies will be highly valuable. This is a great time to join this team as the continue to expand and innovate.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work model, with 3 days a week in office.

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

5+ years experience as an agile project manager, working with scrum teams.
Experience with enterprise payments.
Experience with mobile projects.
Experience with retail level hardware experience (POS, peripherals for stores, etc).
Experience managing projects in an enterprise level organization.
experience transitioning and supporting operations after project goes live is an asset.

Compensation:

This role pays between $80-95 per hour.
