Business Analyst

6-month Business Analyst contract role on a growing digital delivery team within an enterprise organization.

As a result of growth within their digital delivery team our client is looking to add a business analyst to their team. This team supports the lower funnel of their international e-commerce site.  In this role you will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business, functional, and technical requirements from stakeholders. You will evaluate and optimize business processes, workflows, and roadmaps, with a strong focus on lower-funnel retail experiences such as checkout, order management, and fulfillment. Leveraging data-driven insights, you will create and maintain reports to support business decision-making while facilitating cross-functional collaboration with business and technical teams. Additionally, you will document key processes, ensure knowledge transfer, and help drive continuous improvement within their digital retail ecosystem.

They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and this role will be hybrid in office 3 days a week.

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• 5+ years experience as a business analyst preferably with retail experience.
• Strong understanding of checkout, order management, and fulfillment processes in a digital retail environment.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and prioritizing business, functional, and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Ability to evaluate and optimize business workflows, roadmaps, and system integrations.
• Experience facilitating refinement sessions and requirements review sessions with a scrum team.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining tickets to support business insights and performance tracking.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, order management systems,
  and digital payment solutions is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile organization.

This role pays between $70-80 per hour.
