Position Summary

Northern Health is hiring 4 permanent full-time Lead Human Capital Management System (HCMS) Functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that will support the planning and implementation of the new HCMS. The Lead, HCMS Functional SME is responsible for providing leadership in the assigned Core Human Resources (HR) functional areas and extensive knowledge in one or more functional areas is preferred.

• Absence/Time Tracking
• Work Design

The Lead works with leaders and teams at all levels in the organization and provincially to support the required deliverables of implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, and post go-live support) for HCMS related to the respective subject matter area assigned. The role is responsible and accountable for leading, directing, and coordinating current core HR processes, policies, workflows, and mapping and can articulate what is required to achieve the future state of HCMS.

Starting salary will be approximately from $88,990 to $111,237 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, healthcare administration or a related field;
• Five to seven years of recent, related experience in HR, including experience in a complex health organization.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Abilities:
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with leaders at a strategic level and provide leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing
• Proven experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, documenting design, test planning, test scripts and etc.
• Analytical skills to translate data into action, complemented by program planning and management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of HR business practices, work flow analysis, business systems design, and process re-engineering
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently
• Proven ability to write, analyze and understand project plans, proposals for accuracy and consistency.
• Demonstrate ability to lead effectively in a highly dynamic environment subject to continuous change.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
