- Wage based on experience ($25-$32/hr)
Work site environment
- Indoor Fabricating
Tasks
- Cut, bend, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal into truck bodies
- Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build truck bodies
- Install major components such as pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies
- Painting truck bodies
- Various other labour tasks
Equipment and machinery experience
- Drills
- Punch press
- Shears
- Welding equipment
- Painting
- Forklift
- Electrical
- Sandblasting
Work conditions and physical capabilities
- Attention to detail
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Handling heavy loads
