Job Description:
Do you like numbers? If you do so then, a renowned company in the food industry is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its team. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate production costing, inventory management, and financial reporting.

What You’ll Do:
- Calculate daily production yield rates and allocate labor costs.
- Prepare daily finished goods costs and generate yield reports.
- Build standard product costs and collaborate with the sales team on pricing.
- Process vendor and intercompany inventory receipts.
- Reconcile intercompany inventory movements daily and during month-end.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payments and reconcile statements.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and process customer credit card payments.
- Assist with cash handling and respond to accounts receivable inquiries.
- Support sales cut-off verification, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and generate ad hoc reports.
- Perform administrative tasks and liaise with other teams and stakeholders.
What You Need:
- Diploma in accounting, with intent to pursue CPA certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong organizational abilities and familiarity with item costing structures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capable of sitting or standing for long durations.
- Available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional weekend shifts.
