Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) Scanner Technician to join our team in Vancouver, BC as a GPR Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate GPR equipment to conduct concrete GPR scans.
• Interpret data collected from GPR scanner.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate data.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain and calibrate GPR equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements:

• Experience with GPR technology and scanning.
• Ability to interpret GPR data accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites within Vancouver and surrounding areas.
• Concrete coring is an asset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in GPR operation or related field.
• Experience in the construction or engineering industries.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.

This is a full-time position

Competitive hourly rate of $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, with a potential for overtime.
