Our ideal candidate will be a graduate of a bachelor's degree in geography, geospatial science, environmental science, urban planning, or a related field, and/or a GIS diploma or advanced GIS certificate, with 1-2 years of experience working with GIS in a professional setting.

- •Collaborating with team members to integrate GIS technology into project workflows. •Collecting, processing, and analyzing spatial data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. •Creating and maintaining detailed maps, spatial databases, and geospatial datasets to support project requirements. •Conducting spatial analyses to identify patterns, trends, and relationships within data, providing actionable insights for project development. •Assisting in the preparation of reports, presentations, and visualizations to effectively communicate geospatial findings to clients and team members. •Supporting project teams in field data collection efforts using mobile data collection tools as necessary. •Staying updated with the latest GIS technologies, tools, and best practices to continually enhance the company's GIS capabilities. •Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to GIS software and data.
Our ideal candidate will be a graduate of a bachelor's degree in geography, geospatial science, environmental science, urban planning, or a related field, and/or a GIS diploma or advanced GIS certificate, with 1-2 years of experience working with GIS in a professional setting.
The core skills that will help you succeed here include:
- •You are proficient in ESRI software, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and/or Portal. •You have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex spatial data and provide practical solutions. •You are a self-starter who can work independently and collaborate effectively with others. •You take pride in producing high-quality work and possess a strong attention to detail. •You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience. •You are strongly organized and have excellent attention to detail. •You are familiar with database management and basic programming or scripting skills •Experience with Python, Arcade, and other software programs is considered an asset.
