In our Certification practice, within our Risk Assurance Services, we work with a broad, diverse portfolio of organizations operating in Canada, USA and globally to deliver high quality, value-added forest sector certifications and impactful consultation advisory services. Aligned with our strategic priorities, our Certification practice has a long history of exceeding our client's expectations and providing outstanding career development opportunities for our people. Forestry certification continues to expand globally as organizations integrate their controls to manage risks and strive to demonstrate rigor and verifiability across their critical management systems and or chain of custody processes. As part of our team, you'll leverage PwC's leading practice methodologies and technology tools to deliver seamless certification services, while providing value added insights to clients for the continuous improvement of their management systems. You will also support our team of subject matter specialists in providing advisory services for our clients looking to design, implement and enhance their management systems, processes and controls. Due to continued strong demand for our services, we're looking to expand our team of forest certification professionals, focusing on the following standards: Sustainable Forestry Initiative® Forest Stewardship Council® The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification American Tree Farm System® ISO 14001
Meaningful work you will be part of
As a Forestry Certification Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of experienced forestry certification processionals in Canada and the US. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• End to end client and engagement management for certification audits (planning, execution reporting, file wrap up and close out).
• Advising clients on potential gaps and areas for enhancing their management systems, policies, processes , procedures and controls.
• Supporting sales effort s, including proposals, to grow our portfolio of clients and engagements.
• Support ing the ongoing maintenance and updates for our Business Management System.
• Support ing our ongoing regulatory compliance, audit and reporting processes.
• Motivat ing and guid ing engagement teams .
• Developing and delivering internal and external training.
Experiences and skills you will use to solve
• Post-secondary degree in Forestry or related degree in Natural Resource Management .
• Designation as a Registered Forest Professional (RPF) in good standing under a Canadian provincial professional regulatory association .
• Practical experience in some or all of the following areas : plant and wildlife ecology, hydrology, silviculture, forest modeling, remote sensing, forest operations, occupational safety and health, international labor standards and I ndigenous People's consultation .
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience delivering large, complex projects/engagements.
• Unwavering commitment to quality with proven quality review and oversight experience.
• Ability to lead work and collaborate with international, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and problem solving abilities .
• Exceptional commitment to providing excellent client service, by building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external clients .
• Strong personal initiative, agility and resourcefulness .
The salary range* for this position is $83,000 - $95,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location .

Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location .
