Work Arrangements
The Faculty of Science and Technology is seeking sessional instructors to add to the contract list for Computing Science. Course sections are available at the New Westminster campus for the Winter 2025 semester.

The Role
The Faculty of Science & Technology currently offers a one-year Certificate in Computing Science, a two-year Computing Science Diploma (with a Game Development stream), and an Associate of Science degree with specialization in Computing Science.
We are seeking an excellent Computing Science instructor who brings experience and a demonstrated ability to support, motivate, and challenge students in first- and second-year Computing Science courses.
Responsibilities
As a faculty member you will instruct students, facilitate learning and evaluate student progress in College courses. You will plan, organize and manage learning activities and resources, provide academic advice to learners and maintain quality learner-centered instruction.
To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need
Applicants must have a minimum of a Master's degree in one of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an appropriate equivalent, from an accredited university and relevant post-secondary teaching experience. The successful candidate must be qualified to teach first- and second-year university transfer computer science courses. Experience with C++ and Python Programming is required. Experience with microcontroller boards, game development and/or computer graphics is an asset.
