WHO YOU ARE...

You're a multitasking pro with a keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy. Possessing a strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology, you consider yourself to be a negotiation master and a communication wizard. You're not a stranger to contract management software and Microsoft Office come as a second nature to you. You love diving into challenges and finding creative solutions to problems!

WHAT YOU'LL DO...

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle, from initial contract negotiation and drafting through to final execution and compliance monitoring. You will work closely with legal teams, vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure that all contracts align with company policies, legal regulations, and business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
    •Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, customer contracts and confidentiality agreements. •Ensure that contracts are clear, legally compliant, and aligned with company objectives. •Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring timely execution, renewal, and termination of contracts. •Maintain an organized and accessible system for contract documentation and records. •Track contract milestones, deliverables, and compliance requirements. •Act as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. •Collaborate with all departments to ensure contract terms are adhered to and risks are mitigated. •Monitor contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards. •Conduct regular audits of contracts and recommend improvements to the contracting process. •Address any disputes or issues arising from contracts, working with legal counsel when necessary. •Provide guidance on contract-related matters to management and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:
    •Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. A Master's degree or JD is a plus. •Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in contract administration, legal support, or a related field. •Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts. •Certification in contract management (e.g., Certified Professional Contract Manager - CPCM) preferred. •Experience in the Manufacturing/construction industry is beneficial.

OTHER INFORMATION:
    •This is an onsite position located in Kelowna, BC. (805 Crowley Ave, Kelowna, BC). •This role will involve occasional travel to meet with vendors, clients, or attend industry conferences. •This position works Monday to Friday, 8-hour days.
