About the Opportunity

Provectus Physiotherapy is looking for a full-time Business Development & Operations Manager, based in Vancouver, BC (hybrid).

Reporting to and collaborating closely with the Practitioner Founder, you will play a pivotal role in driving business development, operational efficiency, and strategic growth for the organization.

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, spearheading business expansion initiatives, and ensuring financial sustainability to support the practice’s long-term success. A key component of this growth will involve recruiting skilled healthcare practitioners to meet high demand, enabling the clinic to scale effectively.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve revenue growth and profitability targets
  • Managing clinic operations, including systems setup, process improvement, and automation through tools like JaneApp
  • Building and maintaining a network of healthcare practitioners to support clinic growth and client satisfaction
  • Managing P&L, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure fiscal health, with a targeted approach to achieving a 20% revenue increase in the first year and an additional 20% in the second year to drive sustainable profitability
  • Recruiting and onboarding healthcare practitioners and administrative staff to meet operational needs
  • Enhancing client retention and service quality by improving patient experiences and coordinating care
  • Implementing streamlined processes and system automations to support operational efficiencies
  • Partnering with executive leadership to distill strategic vision into practical initiatives that drive business growth
  • Handling additional administrative tasks to support operations and seamless service delivery
  • Traveling as needed for meetings and other business needs
About You

To qualify, you bring 2+ years of leadership or managerial experience, grounded in business management, operations, or sales within a healthcare setting. Ideally, you possess a strategic understanding of small business growth, with a focus on driving sustainable success in a healthcare environment.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Proven experience in recruiting and establishing networks of healthcare practitioners to support clinic growth
  • Leverage an existing network of healthcare practitioners to meet staffing demands and scale clinic operations (asset)
  • Strong financial acumen with a background in budgeting, P&L management, and implementing revenue growth strategies
  • Proficiency in technology, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and clinic software like JaneApp
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales and marketing to drive revenue growth and boost client retention
  • Organizational skills with a systems-oriented approach to process optimization and structure
  • Ability to work independently in remote settings, with a track record of managing distributed teams effectively
  • Experience with social media, newsletters, and digital marketing to engage clients and support patient outreach
