Role and Responsibilities

Managing and overseeing the filing of regular tax returns, including income tax, GST and other direct or indirect taxes.
Evaluating the tax implications of Group's activities and developing strategies to minimize tax obligations
Advising on future tax changes
Managing and directing relationships with key service providers
Assisting with any tax compliance audits
Collaborating with finance and accounting teams to ensure our tax strategies and policies are implemented
Identifying, tracking and reporting any potential financial risks or issues and working closely with the accounting teams to implement appropriate solutions.
Leading tax due diligence of any prospective acquisition targets
Assisting in corporate organization matters as needed on an ad hoc basis
Assisting in current and deferred tax provisioning for financial reporting
Keeping up to date with ever-changing tax laws and ensuring Group compliance
Developing and implementing best practices for tax processes and procedures
Preparing and presenting to the Executive leadership and senior management and board
