Job Summary

The Team
You'll be joining an established team at the Oliver Production Insurance office, working closely with a group of 9 dedicated staff. The team includes other production insurance reps, technicians, claims staff, and managers, all collaborating to provide seamless support. The Role
As a Program Representative with Production Insurance, you'll play a key role in helping BC's farmers manage the risks of crop losses from events like hail, frost, flooding, and drought. Your work directly supports the stability of the agriculture sector, a vital industry for all British Columbians. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping local producers safeguard their livelihoods, while joining a supportive and dedicated team.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, agricultural science or related field and a minimum of 2 years current, progressive and related experience OR
  • A technical diploma in business, agricultural science or related field and a minimum of 4 years current, progressive and related experience OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related experience can include any one of the following:
  • Direct farming experience.
  • Experience with agricultural production or consultation.
  • Experience in insurance or sales.

This position has full time on-site requirements.
