YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY

Are you ready to take your leadership and management skills to the next level? As a Security Programs Manager at Paladin, you'll manage a portfolio of clients in Northern BC and oversee the security teams within that portfolio. You'll be the key point of contact for clients and ensure the highest standards of safety and service are maintained across all sites.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Security Programs Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, conducting interviews with potential security staff, and ensuring all employees have adequate training to meet industry, corporate, and client standards. You'll work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure all client needs are met and that Paladin's security operations run smoothly.

Your duties include conducting site evaluations, monitoring incident reports, and addressing any staffing needs or concerns. You'll lead motivational and disciplinary discussions with security personnel, ensure that all site orders are up to date, and handle emergencies as an after-hours resource. You will also play a key role in promoting Paladin's business and ensuring services are aligned with both client expectations and Paladin's Code of Ethics.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

•Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
•Conduct interviews and select security staff for sites within the portfolio.
•Ensure all staff are trained and site orders are current.
•Provide motivational and disciplinary discussions as needed.
•Evaluate security staff based on company policies and client standards.
•Oversee security evaluations and make recommendations to the Branch Manager.
•Communicate with Operations and Field Supervisors on outstanding issues.
•Monitor and take appropriate action on incident reports.
•Remain on-call for after-hours emergencies.
•Promote Paladin's business professionally and positively.

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU

•Have at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in security.
•Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and have access to a vehicle.
•Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Are proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Can lead, organize, and solve problems effectively.
•Have a working knowledge of security legislation and standards.
•Possess a diploma in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field (preferred but not required).
•Demonstrate professionalism and can adapt to a dynamic environment.

Education Requirements (Any)

Certificate Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or related) field
Post secondary education in law enforcement from a recognized institution or equivalent experience
Post-secondary education in a law enforcement/security program from a recognized college

Certification Requirements (Any)

Valid BC Security Licence
Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License
OFA I
