Job Description

We are seeking a Remote Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will play a crucial part in analyzing large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate is adept at transforming data into valuable insights, possesses strong analytical skills, and thrives in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities:

Analyze complex datasets using statistical methods and tools to derive meaningful insights.
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or equivalent role.
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, Power BI, etc.), databases (SQL, MongoDB, etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks), and statistical packages (R, Python, SAS, etc.).
Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven ability to work in a remote environment and collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a related field.
