THE OPPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and Reigning Champ is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to lead the strategy, execution, and delivery of Retail, eCommerce, Marketing, and Product technology systems that power the experiences of Reigning Champ clients. You will be responsible for developing and driving the technology roadmap that accelerates the Reigning Champ business while leveraging enterprise platform and enablement functions to ensure Reigning Champ's technology infrastructure needs are met. You will provide thought leadership and insight, recommending technology solutions and organizational changes when required to drive the business forward. With your valuable contribution to the business in this role, the opportunities are endless.

THE ROLE

As the Director of Reigning Champ Technology, you will:
  • Establish a clear vision and strategic direction for Technology at Reigning Champ, ensuring timely prioritization of opportunities, leveraging top talent, and driving efficiency while making smart investments
  • Optimize the value of technology solutions for customers and the business by efficiently planning and delivering high-quality solutions
  • Establish and provide ongoing visibility to a technology roadmap developed in collaboration with business partners, technology partners, and external vendors, considering business vision, objectives, requirements, and technical feasibility
  • Provide features that unlock business and technology value - build high quality and secure systems and integrations, leveraging industry best practices to meet the needs of the business and technology architecture
  • Provide reliable and performant solutions with excellent proactive and reactive support
  • Partner with enterprise technology teams to ensure best-in-class service, deliver high-quality cybersecurity solutions, and provide a robust and scalable technology foundation
  • Work with the appropriate partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the Reigning Champ Technology department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Director of Reigning Champ Technology has:
  • Proven and best-in-class skills, education, and/or applicable certifications
    • Expert understanding of software delivery lifecycle with packaged and in-house developed software
    • Strong understanding of enterprise operational practices
    • Comfortable deep diving into technical specifics to ensure the highest quality solutions
    • Effective communication skills with the ability to translate complex and technical information into business terms
    • In-depth understanding of capital and operational budget planning and management
    • Experience interfacing at the executive level
  • A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's and Reigning Champs Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
  • The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
  • A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon [salary/wage] may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus.
