Cybersecurity, Device Management Director

As companies pivot toward a digital business model, exponentially more data is generated and shared among organisations, partners and customers. We play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing transformation strategies focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats.

Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Cyber as a Service, Device Management Director , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Oversee and lead all infrastructure management operations, serving as the primary leadership and technical escalation point of contact.
• Implement, maintain , improve and validate infrastructure incident processes .
• Oversee incident triage, including identification, assessment, reporting, communication, mitigation, and monitoring, adhering to rigorous processes and quality standards .
• Approve final client deliveries and documentation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
• Manage and optimize the 24x7 service delivery for our devices management team.
• Hold accountability for the team's work quality, resource utilization , and initiate corrective actions where necessary to enhance performance.
• Drive business development initiatives, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to expand service offerings.
• Ensure exceptional device management, client experience, and service quality, continuously seeking improvements.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, process adherence, and implement process improvements to meet and exceed operational objectives .
• Foster strong, positive working relationships with stakeholders, coordinating effectively to achieve common goals.
• Develop and refine processes to strengthen the current device operations framework, reviewing policies and addressing challenges in managing SLAs, initiating corrective actions as needed for the Digital Resilience Center.
• Lead the team in developing use cases for systems monitoring, and provide expertise during escalation calls from Tier 2.
• Actively mentor and coach team members, promoting their professional growth and maximizing their potential.
• Exhibit advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, and related standards, guiding the team with strategic insights and best practices.

Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Experience in security device management including SIEM , EDR, SOAR, DLP plat forms and/or other security devices including Firewall, Anti-Spam, Web Proxy and other security technology.
• Extensive experience in MSSP environment.
• Prior experience in systems administration and network administration.
• Hands-on experience with two or more of the following technologies: Cisco Iron-Port, ProofPoint , Splunk, LogRhythm, QRadar , Azure Sentinel, ArcSight, Palo Alto Cortex, McAfee EndPoint Protection, Illumio, Forescout , Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco ASA, CheckPoint , Claroty , Tanium, Crowdstrike.
• Proficiency in Incident Management and Change Management.
• Consulting experience in a Big 4 or similar is an asset.
• Technical designations such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, OSCP, CEH, ECSA, GPEN, GWAPT, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE will be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of various operating system flavors including but not limited to Windows and, Linux.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle high pressure situations with key stakeholders internally and externally.
• Good analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives.

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information

The salary range* for this position is $ 162,200.00 - $216,200.00 - $270,200.00 CAD Annual , plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.

*Please note that the salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region . Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location .
