Salary range (in British Columbia): $86,500 - $119,000
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. What you can expect to do here:
Risk Management and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments using tools such as HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA, and HAZID;
- Deliver clear and actionable reports that help clients address and mitigate risks effectively.
Collaborative Problem-Solving:
- Work with multidisciplinary teams and clients to align on risk strategies and solutions;
- Participate in workshops, helping to identify risks, resolve challenges, and achieve consensus.
Driving Innovation:
- Contribute to the development of tools and processes that enhance risk analysis and reporting;
- Explore new approaches, such as integrating natural language processing (NLP) to uncover insights and improve efficiency.
Client Engagement and Delivery:
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored risk management solutions;
- Build relationships that strengthen WSP's reputation for excellence and reliability.
What you'll bring to WSP:
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in risk management, engineering, or a related field.
Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of risk methodologies, including HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA, and quantitative techniques such as fault tree and event tree analysis.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
Mindset:
- A proactive, innovative approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
