Reporting to the Lead, People Systems, the HRIS Analyst is responsible for collaborating closely with our HR business subject matter experts (SMEs) and the HRIS project team to elicit, analyze and document business processes and manuals. Additional responsibilities including supporting SAP Success Factors Employee Central Recruitment (SAP SF RCM/RMK) training and testing, alongside following up on system defects. This outstanding individual has strong planning, project management, and organizational skills. The successful candidate possesses a profound knowledge in recruitment processes and will collaborate with the project and sites SMEs!

Responsibilities:
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Ensure that implementation projects achieve their business goals by gathering the information to detail the business processes, deliver training, and help the SMEs through project testing phases
- Fulfill the role of a SME in recruitment and SAP SF RCM/RMK matters. Review functional specifications (Workbooks), test cases, and wireframes/flowcharts/manuals for training material
- Actively collaborate with the SAP SF RCM/RMK implementation across all Teck Sites to support business objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Commerce, Business Management, Computer Science or similar. An additional CPHR designation is an asset
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience, with at least 4 years of HR Systems configuration, reporting, training, and testing experience
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors HXM (Employee Central, Recruiting Management and Recruitment Marketing)
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Lookup Functions, Pivot Tables, sophisticated charting and analysis, Macros)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visio or similar process mapping tools
- Intermediate knowledge of human resources, recruitment principles and practices
- Experience implementing and/or upgrading an HR system (full lifecycle from requirements gathering to aftercare support)
- Experience in a multinational, geographically dispersed company, preferably with union experience
- Ability to analyze data and apply critical thinking to resolve issues and suggest solutions and improvements
- Client focused with the ability to influence cooperation between vendors, sites, and functions
- Clear and concise communicator, with experience delivering training
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and tact. Ability to handle confidential and personal information to ensure compliance with PIPA, PIPEDA, and other regional privacy laws
