Job Description

Horizon Recruitment Inc. is currently seeking a Financial Reporting Supervisor for a large publicly traded client to prepare and analyze the consolidated financial statements. You will manage a team of high performers and provide leadership in maintaining the corporate reporting procedures. Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Senior Analysts to ensure the production of precise, timely, and meaningful internal financial reports.
Oversee the work of Analysts and supervise the reconciliation of the global consolidation process.
Prepare summarized financial outcomes and quarterly forecasts, including analysis of income statements.
Conduct overall analysis of the business environment and financial data received from regional accounting teams.
Regularly communicate with regional teams to stay informed on challenges and issues they face, anticipating any potential impacts on financial outcomes.
Take ownership of complex financial models and incorporate additional analysis as needed due to changes in IFRS or business conditions.
Prepare MD&A, financial statements, related disclosures, executive analysis packages, and press releases, including reconciling income statement analysis with the general ledger.
Support the preparation of audited and consolidated financial statements, MD&A, note disclosures, and other financial documentation.

Requirements:

A CPA designation plus 8+ years of progressive experience
Experience in an environment with multiple entities/locations/etc.
Experience managing high performing teams
Strong analytical skills using Excel
Strong interpersonal and exceptional communication skills
Proven ability to think independently and solve problems
Ability to develop and manage a dynamic business process in a fast paced environment

Remuneration:

$120-130k
