Job Type: Temporary Casual
Wage: $33.00 - $40.00/hour. As a casual employee, total earnings includes an additional 13% in lieu of benefits and paid time off
Location: Burnaby, BC - Hybrid
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Be an integral part of financial decision making by supporting various internal departments throughout the PHSA.
What you'll do
- Analyze financial information of projects, assisting with operational reviews, internal controls and business process improvements
- Develop business cases, budgets, forecasts and benefits analysis to support project and operational decision making
- Provide leadership in monitoring, assessing, interpreting, highlighting and reporting on financial and project/operational area performance
- Gather information through research and analysis to build spreadsheets, tables, charts, graphs and reports to summarize information
- Monitors and analyzes operational and financial information for the project's operations.
- Forecast results and creating reports for the Leadership Team
- Builds partnerships with program managers and key stakeholders across internal programs and services, as well as across health care authorities
What you bring
- A level of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Financial Analytics, or other related field
- Professional accounting designation (CPA)
- 2-4 years+ experience with project and operational financials
- Strong knowledge of Excel as well as Financial Reporting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior analytical skills and strong presentation skills
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).
