Director, Minimum Nurse To Patient Ratio (mnpr) & Professional Practice, Nursing

In accordance with Northern Health's Strategic Plan, the Director, mNPR and Professional Practice, Nursing (the Director) has Health Authority-wide responsibility and is accountable for developing and leading the implementation of nursing practice initiatives such as minimum nurse to patient ratio (mNPR) and overseeing the development and recommendations of quality practice and learning environments, models of care that support best practices, nursing regulations, improved patient safety, quality of care and increased workforce sustainability. The Director leads and manages the Professional Practice portfolio and has responsibility for the portfolio budget, new program development and workforce planning.

Starting salary will be approximately from $128,298 to $160,372 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications
• Master's degree in nursing supported by a minimum of 7 (seven) years of related experience in increasingly senior leadership roles, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Current practicing registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
