Job Description

Contract Data Governance Program Manager role with a global enterprise organization transforming how they view data internally.

Senior leadership is very bought into this new program
Hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in office in Vancouver

What & Why:
This is a newly created role, working in a newly created team focusing on the transformation of how the organization views data internally. You will be working with a very well-respected leader and alongside a consulting company who is helping to build the data management roadmap. There is significant work to be done around how data is organized internally. The key deliverables for this role in the short term will be to help build out the roadmap and workshopping with cross functional partners as well as handling communications about sequencing of the technology and business goals. Ideally you are someone who understands the product life cycle either in a retail or CPG organization, so you are already speaking the language of your business stakeholders. You will bring organization and structure to the team as well as an understanding of the data. This is a really exciting time to join as the organization looks to transform their data journey.

They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment with 3 days a week in office.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

4+ years experience in a data governance role ideally in an enterprise organization
Program management experience
Experience with building roadmaps, running workshops and working with cross-functional business partners.
Retail experience would be considered a serious asset

Compensation: this role pays $70-80 per hour incorporated.
