Corporate Controller – Growing Company in the Lower Mainland

Location: Lower Mainland, BC (In-Office, Monday to Friday)
Term: 12-Month Contract (High Possibility of Extension)
Salary: $140K – $150K
Team Leadership: Overseeing a team of 5

A well-established and growing company in the Lower Mainland is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead financial reporting, oversee accounting operations, and implement process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial leader looking to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Oversee cost accounting, financial analysis, and variance reporting
Manage external audits and risk mitigation strategies
Lead and mentor an accounting team of five
Contribute to ERP implementation and process optimization

Qualifications:

CPA designation (CA, CMA, or equivalent)
Minimum 5+ years of financial reporting experience and 3+ years in a Controllership role
Audit & public practice experience (Big 4 preferred)
Strong background in high-volume cost accounting
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
