Position Summary

We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Computer Tomography department.

In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the position promotes a safe environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff. Reporting to the Chief Technologist or Manager, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs computer tomography (CT) procedures. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Nights - 23:59 to 08:00, 23:30 to 07:30, Rotating

New Wage: As of April 1, 2024, the new wage is: $38.07 - $47.52/hour

Qualfications
• Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program for Computer Tomography. Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
